2008 UPDATES TO THE RBC WEBSITE COMING SOON! PLEASE CONTINUE TO CHECK BACK!
Dear Friends & Fans of Baseball:
Racine Baseball Cooperative would like to welcome you to our website for the 2007 season! On this website you will find each RBC team’s webpage which include rosters, schedules, maps to ballparks and much more! We appreciate your continued support of RBC Baseball and hope you will have the opportunity to enjoy many of the games during the season.
The RBC is a nonprofit volunteer organization established in 1989 to provide a positive baseball program for Racine area youth. The RBC is home to the Kiwanis, Redbirds, Raptors, Mudcats, Bombers, Vipers & Cobras. The RBC provides financial and human resources needed to develop the physical and social skills of our baseball program participants. The RBC is able to help in the upward mobility of players by networking with college coaches and professional scouts. The RBC's goal is to help participants achieve their educational and athletic goals. To accomplish our goals and objectives, the RBC relies on both the financial and volunteer support of business and community leaders to ensure the long-term viability of the programs RBC offers.
The Haban/Jensen Hitting Center is located in the commercial building at 820 Water Street in Racine. The hitting center is named for two Racine businessmen who made the RBC Hitting Center a reality. With the passing of Mr. Brian Jensen in 2003, Racine lost a true gentlemen and a fine supporter of RBC. Brian's generosity to the RBC and his love for the game will forever be felt by the RBC. Another business leader richly deserving our "special thanks" for his continuing generosity is Mr. Joseph Haban. We are very grateful for his continued support. The generosity and caring these two men have shown continues to allow the RBC to operate the finest indoor hitting/training center in Racine.
As always, thanks again to the corporations, small businesses, organizations and individuals who purchase ads for this website and our yearly program book and help ensure the long-term viability of our programs and organizational goals. In turn, please be sure to support the sponsors listed on this website and throughout the RBC program book.
RBC teams have volunteer managers and coaches who provide the leadership and experience necessary to guide the RBC teams through the season. These individuals also volunteer their time to teach baseball skills at the training center during the off-season.
And last, but certainly not least, the RBC would like to extend many thanks to all General Members, their families and friends who volunteer their time to make this program successful.
Good luck to all coaches and players this season!
