Welcome to the RBC Vipers webpage!
Congratulations to the RBC Vipers for winning the 2007 M.A.J.O.R. Youth Baseball League's U14 S.E. division with a 15-1 record!
The RBC Vipers had a 48-9 record in 2006. The Vipers played in 6 tournaments finishing first three times, second once and third place twice. The highlight of the season was playing in a Super Series Tournament in Omaha, Nebraska during the College World Series. This tournament drew 18 teams from all over the United States with hopes of competing on a National level while taking in a few College World Series games. In the opening round of the tournament, the Vipers went undefeated earning the number two seed which helped them advance to the eight team play-off round. The Vipers won their first game but eventually lost to a team from California in the semi-finals. This wonderful experience was something the players and their families will not soon forget. It provided inspiration to dream big and to continue to work hard while reinforcing the value of team work. 2007 is looking just as promising with eight players returning from last season’s roster. The team is comprised of 13 players who have been practicing in the RBC Hitting Center since November. Without the support from generous individuals and corporations, teams like the RBC Vipers do not have a place to practice in winter months and may not realize what it is like to compete at a high level.
